Silver Mines Limited has lodged this Prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

Any Australian resident who receives the Prospectus electronically will be sent a paper copy of the Prospectus free of charge on request by telephoning Silver Mines Limited on – (02) 9253 0900.

Offers of shares will be made in, or accompanied by, the Prospectus and anyone wishing to apply for shares offered by the Prospectus must complete a paper copy of the application form included in the Prospectus which has been downloaded and printed in its entirety.

No shares will be offered on the basis of the Prospectus later than 3 weeks after the date of the Prospectus.

Under the Corporations Act, the Company is not permitted to process applications during the period of seven days after the date of lodgement of this Prospectus with ASIC (Exposure Period). ASIC may extend the Exposure Period for up to a further seven days. No preference will be conferred on applications received during the Exposure Period.

The Prospectus does not constitute an offer or invitation in any jurisdiction other than Australia where, or to any person to whom, it would be unlawful to make such an offer. The distribution of the Prospectus in jurisdictions outside Australia may be restricted by law and persons who come into possession of the Prospectus should seek advice on and observe any such restrictions.
